Overview

Dominion is one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy, with a portfolio of approximately 27,600 megawatts of generation, 11,000 miles of natural gas transmission, gathering and storage pipeline and 6,100 miles of electric transmission lines. The company operates through three primary business units: Dominion Virginia Power comprises its regulated utility operations in Virginia and North Carolina. Dominion Generation is its electric power generation and wholesaling arm, and Dominion Energy is its natural gas production, transport, storage, and sales unit.
