Corporate venture capital arm of Siemens, the largest engineering conglomerate in Europe


SVC is invested in more than 150 companies and 40 venture capital funds in the energy industry and healthcare sectors, with teams located in Europe, Asia and the US.
SVC is part of the Siemens corporate group which engineers and manufactures products in the energy industry and healthcare sectors. Through its portfolio companies, Siemens enters new markets and offers its customers new technological solutions.

SVC’s goal is to identify and finance young companies worldwide during their start-up phase as well as provide established companies with additional capital for their growth plans during the expansion phase. SVC’s activities include private equity advisory service and consulting in private equity asset allocation. As of January 2009, Siemens Venture Capital has launched its first own fund-of-funds: Siemens Global Innovation Partners I, offered also to non-Siemens investors.
